How are you managing risks related to COVID-19?
Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. While dinner and dancing will take place indoors, Southwind Hills is a spacious venue. All Staff at Southwind Hills will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All Southwind Hills staff will be subject to a temperature check before beginning work. Southwind Hills encourages (but does not require) all attendees to wear a mask or face covering.
Southwind Hills encourages all attendees to maintain a safe personal distance from one another. In addition, masks and hand sanitizer will be provided. Southwind Hills will utilize single-use plastic serving ware in lieu of glassware for bar service. Dinner will be served to the guests by a staff member wearing a mask and gloves for the entirety of service. Our goal is to keep all of our guests, happy, healthy, and safe.
What airport should I fly into?
We recommend flying into the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City and taking an Uber/Lyft/Airport Express to 21C Museum Hotel. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the airport.
Where should I stay?
We have reserved a hotel room block for our guests at 21C Museum Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City at 900 W Main Street from October 8-12.
We recommend you staying at 21C because we will be dropping guests off here after the rehearsal dinner and picking up/dropping off from here before and after the wedding. Our after-party is scheduled for the Penthouse suite in 21C after the wedding reception. 21C is complying with all CDC recommendations. The hotel will be complying with the current mask mandate and all guests must be wearing a mask at all times except during the times you are in your guestroom or dining at Mary Eddy’s. In addition, 21C will be checking each guests’ temperature before entering the lobby.
Is there transportation to and from the hotel?
Yes, there will be a shuttle leaving from 21C Museum Hotel to Southwind Hills beginning at 4 p.m. before the ceremony and shuttles returning from Southwind Hills beginning at 9:15 and running until 11:00 p.m.
Where should I park?
Southwind Hills has parking if you choose to drive. However, please consider using our provided transportation to and from 21C Museum Hotel or using Uber/Lyft so that you can enjoy the bar.
The Jones Assembly has Valet for $5 or parking around the sides of the building. We recommend using Uber/Lyft for Cocktails with the Caseys.
Are my children invited?
We hope all of our guests, including parents, can enjoy a night of celebration without worrying about the kids! If you have any questions, please reach out to Elaine or Sean.
Is the wedding ceremony unplugged?
We request that you please be mindful of photos and cell phones during the ceremony as you help us capture our special day. We have lovely photographers and videographers capturing this special moment, and we'd hate to have our photos filled with cell phones. Please refrain from recording or photographing during Elaine’s walk down the aisle and the couple’s walk back up the aisle.
